Vanden Bussche Irrigation & Equipment Ltd is dedicated to excellence in our customer service with all of our various customers including those with disabilities.  All of our facilities are wheelchair accessible.

Vanden Bussche Irrigation & Equipment Ltd is proud to state that all current employees and managers have been trained during one of our safety meetings that are held every month. In these meetings the following details have been covered; an overview of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act 2005, our customer service standard plan, how to interact with people of various disabilities, how to communicate with various disabilities and their devices, as well as how to use our devices on site (washrooms, parking spaces, automatic external defibrillator and door activation buttons).  New employees will be trained in these areas within their first month of employment and should there be any changes to our accessible customer service plan, every employee will be re-trained so we may better assist people with disabilities while providing our goods and services to them.  We will communicate with customers who may have disabilities in ways that take into account their specific disability; whether it is larger font or a verbal explanation.

Vanden Bussche Irrigation & Equipment Ltd welcomes people with disabilities and those who are accompanied by a support person and/or service animal; they will be permitted in the areas of our premises that are open to the public.

In the occurrence of a planned or unpredicted disruption to services or facilities for customers with disabilities (washrooms, parking and door activation buttons); Vanden Bussche Irrigation & Equipment Ltd will notify customers immediately by a posted notice.  This clearly posted information will include the reason for the interference of the service or area of the facility and its expected length of time.  The notice will be posted in the main entrance door where all customers will be able to see and when needed, a verbal statement will be given and any assistance needed will be provided.

The Vanden Bussche learning centre is a working farm where clients can see first-hand the new irrigation technology at work. It also allows us to become familiar with new technologies and test new trends so we can better advise you on irrigation best-practices.
