Hose-Fed Laterals may be designed to irrigate fields from 80 to 320 acres. Power is supplied from an on-board diesel generator or the system may be all-electric with the use of a long-wearing cable. Pull towers may be two wheel for fields 1,300’ wide or four wheel for field up to 2,600’.

At the heart of Zimmatic design success is its Centre Drive and Heavy Duty Gearbox components. High efficiency 3/4 Hp Spur Drives result in more torque but draw less amperage providing energy saving of up to 30 percent. Additional savings may be made by reducing incoming power wire requirement or using smaller generators. Zimmatic Gearbox are built to be 30 percent stronger and to deliver more continuous torque (80,000 inch-lb), giving you long term reliability over tough field conditions.
