Horizontal Strainers provide an ideal solution for pumping from shallow streams. Additional strainer sections may be added to increase surface area. A Foot Valve with tube connection easily bolts into place.
Self-Cleaning Strainers deal very effectively with debris and algae with capacities from 50gpm to 3,000gpm. Water is returned to the strainer from the discharge side of the pump; nozzles inside the strainer cause the screen to revolve. Debris that is attached to the screen is blown free when the screen revolves past a hard hitting spray pattern.
Self-Cleaning strainers come in a wide variety of screen lengths and nozzle configurations. A single row of nozzles are available as well as a double row configuration. Also available from Sure-Flo is a SHallow Water Self-Cleaner that needs only 5" above the screen top.
